Roller bearings

Roller bearings are able to carry high loads. The line contact of the rolling elements with the raceways causes the development of greater friction and heat loss during the operation of the bearings. Therefore, these bearings cannot be operated at such high speeds as dimensionally equivalent bearings with point contact. Mainly due to their robustness and load-bearing capacity, roller bearings are used in a wide range of industrial applications.
