Qualification

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering. If higher degree in engineering, same would be preferable.
  • Masters in Marketing
  • A relevant certificate or license is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Excellent active listening and customer service skills.
  • The ability to deal with multiple requests without being overwhelmed.
  • The ability to remain professional under pressure.
  • Superb work ethic and a growth mindset.

Experience

  • 5 Years + Experience.
  • Must have experience as application engineer in field of bearings for at least 4 years in industrial segment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
  • Prospection of Key Accounts - Prospection is the process where we conclude the selection of key accounts that we would focus on in order to add value to them.
  • Lead Development - Contact, communicate and develop leads as per prospection.
  • Account Development - Plan Inventory, Ensure Timely Collection, Retain and Grow Market Share.
  • Customer Mapping - Mapping is a process where we study the key account in depth and understand the application, machinery and associated purchase trends. This process will also help us identify the importance and criticality of an application, what are the current gaps and how we can add value.
  • Customer Value Add Proposal - Must be able to highlight how value addition could be brought to the customer by means of our products and services.
  • Market Information - Competition remains dynamic and ever changing and in this environment it is essential to capture how the competition is addressing the environment and how we can better them.
  • Sales Reports - Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends in the CRM.
  • Technical Knowledge - of Products and Services In order to provide technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Training & Grooming customer's staff, by providing technical information and training.
  • Quotations - Making offers based on customer opportunities after making necessary analysis from the CRM.
  • Negotiating - Negotiating and concluding quotations.
  • Order Booking - Processing orders through CRM.
  • Relationship Building - Relationship building and rapport is essential to understand gaps and build influence.
  • Inventory Forecast - Inventory forecast based on forecasted customer requirements and ensuring smooth flow of projected inventory.
  • Collections - Ensuring timely collections and coordinate & conclude underlying issues, hinderances to receiving collections.
  • Update Professional and Technical Knowledge - By attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action and implementing directives.
  • Compliance - Complies with national, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislation.
